Event Notes
Ten strangers are invited for a holiday to a remote island off the English coast. When a terrible storm cuts them off from the mainland, and with their hosts mysteriously absent, the true reason for their presence becomes horribly clear. Secrets from their past come back to haunt each guest, while a sinister nursery rhyme underscores their fates. Dame Agatha Christie wrote this stage adaptation based on her own novel - the best-selling mystery of all time.
* Please Note: An alternate version of the play, more closely reflecting the novel’s original somewhat darker ending, was commissioned by the Agatha Christie Estate, and written in 2015. In addition to the version that is normally performed, the OLT will be offering this darker, alternate version of the play during two performances only, on Tuesday May 13th and Tuesday May 20th. For this version, we recommend Adult Accompaniment.
